[LINUX] error when trying to run command "make"

I'm out of paitence. OP install build-essentials and compile the No-IP DUC. I'm off to sleep!

re-installing the server and did the :

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade && sudo apt-get install build-essentials
 

fisrt thing and after that installing no ip and it worked

do you have all the packages for compilation? (make, gcc, binutils...)

 

specifically check for build-essentials

And i recommend a static DNS to minimize hassle. Use 

8.8.8.8

 or 

8.8.4.4

 or 

4.2.2.2

for some resone he wont let me run with sudo

It looks like the correct PPA repository is missing.

 

Maybe someone just fined a .deb of build essentials? Here somewhere? https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=build-essential
