Trying to decide between 2 airsoft guns Can Anyone Help?

PaulKolby

Hey Everyone,

I need help deciding between these two guns, but let me tel you what i want. I really wan an M4 because i have a bunch of M4 accessories that i would be able to put on it. (Rail system, mags, etc.)

Now, i wanted to spend about $200 and get a decent M4

This first one is $130 and is all polymer plastic, but has amazing reviews and has an amazing gearbox in it, which is just as good as $200+ guns, but is made of plastic

The Second one is $285, which is more than i wanted to spend, but is full metal, just as good of a gearbox as the $130 and is just a more expensive M4 with a full metal body, and comes with a hard carying case.

The $285 one is full metal, but because the $130 gun has just as good of internals as the $285. Do you guys think i just spend the extra money for full metal, or just get the cheaper one

P.S. i would prefer Echo 1 has I hav had amazing luck with them in the past

Isn't the real M4 made of polycarbonate? I'd just go with that one.

Metal is nice, but it likely also weighs a great deal more.

If I had the money id go for the metal one just because its going to last a LOT longer. The only down side is that the FPS is a bit lower than the other but not by much at all and like dizmo said it will most likely weigh more.

You could get much better for the price. Have a look at the G&G Raider Series. I have a Metal M4 and I love the extra weight.

You should do a write up of your purchase afterwards

Real M4s Have metal barrels and receivers.

Stocks, hard guards(sometimes), and grips are typically made of composite materials.

Internals such as springs, pins, bolt and buffer are made of metal.

Yeah. I would assume the barrel and internals are metal ;)

Oh it does. I have a metal and plastic (primarily metal) airsoft Thompson. You gotta have strong arms to be able to hold it normally (like, up to your shoulder) for long periods of time. It's more comfortable to hold it at the waist.
