A montrealer created a hoverboard

Alexandre Duru, ingenior, graduate from Montreal's polytechnic school created a hoverboard prototype. He was aiming to prove that hoverboards can be secure, stable and reliable while controlled with his feet. The minimum required by Guiness was a flight of 50 meters to establish a record, He managed to do 275 meters.

Basically looks like 2 powerful drones put together or something like that.

thats not a hoverboard. thats some one standing on some drones.

I think it can be considered a hoverboard since it's controlled by his feet.

I wouldn't exactly call that a hoverboard...
