EVGA 750W G2. Best PSU for the money on the Market : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438017

Has ECO mode, where the fan doesnt even spin until a certian point, and sli 970's? No issue, I run 2 Matrix Platinum 980's with mine. AND has a 10 year warranty.

Don't bother with the RM.

As suggested above EVGA 750G2 will probably be best for your needs.

Thanks guys , i will go with either the 750 G2 or the 850 varient coz why not lol

Hey Everyone

So after trying to make my PC quieter with a new case and CPU cooler and fans and such i have found that my PSU is by far the loudest thing in my PC (coil whine )

So im in the market for a new Powersupply

Things i need/will need

- i want 750W+

- i am planning on upgrading to SLi in the future ( Sli 970's)

- it needs to be quiet , maybe an option to not have the fan spinning when not doing anything intensive ?

- needs to be £100 or less ( UK obviously

i was thinking the Corsair RM750 , but im not sure if that will be enough for my planned upgrades

Anyone got any other suggestions ?

thanks in advanced :)

My Pc Specs

Can second this. On non eco mode, the fan is actually pretty loud and irritating, but turn eco mode on and you'll be happy (I have this PSU).
