Hey guys i want to buy a new power supply so which one is better?

Corsair vs series 550m or seasonic eco 600w??

Yep, seasonic seems to be better.

 

Sounds to me like the VS series is quite shitty :P

Hands down Seasonic. Even the worst model that they have is far better then the Corsair VS.

Yes, those VS units coil whine to shit. I would also look at Antec NeoEco PSUs. (Made by Seasonic, but branded as Antec and sold cheaper)

Depends on location. The Neo Eco are great for the price in for example Australia, but in North America the XFX ProSeries holds the crown for the price range.

Also on time, the NeoECOs were selling (620W version) for $32.00 on US Newegg in January and February (Sale). So my friend got one at the time. I can't find the 620W version anymore though.

Yeah it depends on the time. Antec were having some huge sales but now it seems to have died down. $32 for a Neo ECO... let's not forget about when TruePower Classics were $39 :P
