What is the desktop equivalent of the Nvidia GeForce gtx 980m 4gb?

Hi I was looking at a laptop and was wondering what the desktop equivalent would be of the nvidia GeForce gtx 980m with 4gb???

GTX 970 or so. Possibly a bit less

Not as powerful as a 970, but better than a 960. Maybe equal to a 770

Intel Core i7 9700k - EVGA FTW GTX 970

Slightly slower than a GTX 970, and slightly faster than a GTX 770. Some have been clocked to roughly GTX 780 speeds.

980m actually has the same vram problem as the desktop 970

According to videocardbenchmark.net the R9 290X and the GTX 780 are just slightly better than the 980M. Even the R9 290 just slightly under-performs it. The GTX 780 is the cheapest out of itself and the R9 290X http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=2976&cmp[]=2697&cmp[]=2525

Guys the 980m has almost the same Fps like the desktop gtx 780 

you can see the benchmarks and almost like the gtx 970

Slightly off topic but if the 980m is similar to the 970, would the 860m and 960m be similar to the 750 ti?
