Bought two Msi R9 290 4gb twin frozr for Evolve, (knowing it was a Nvidia game) GTA 5, and hopefully Direct X 12. Mantle is indeed an awesome treat as well.

 

BF4 is amazing on a 120hz monitor running at 125+ fps constantly. And within a few weeks I will be adding a whole watercool system for the i7 as well as EK waterblocks for the 290s.

 

BUT Evolve has yet to add a definitive fps limiter, and of course the biggest fault is AMD for not releasing a driver for the last 79 days. The last beta driver was 101 days ago. 

 

Thank you very much. The bit coin mining craze hasn't helped us get better drivers? Come on.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

What exactly are you asking for?

Is this a rant?

Are you asking how to limit fps?

Are you complaining about AMD drivers?

Yes no issues for using just one card. When crossfire mode is enabled, if you have epilepsy you are warned. I stated a few facts, such as Evolve not having a limiter which most games have at least a console to go to when changing that setting is needed. 

 

I am wondering why a company as big as AMD would let Nvidia stomp them in supplying proper drivers for new games such as Dying Light, Evolve, etc.
