Corsair H100i Pump Speed

Okay, So ive got the Corsair H100i Setup and everything is working just fine except for the pump. Like its working but I cant control the speed of it through corsair link. And I would love any information on the cooler itself. Im using the stock fans that came with it in a push configuration as a intake.

welcome to the Linus Tech Tips forums!

you want the H100i AIO pump to be 100% (2400-2200 rpm).

the pump is not supposed to be adjustable. fans are the only adjustable part

of that system.

Pump is not adjustable, I think it scales to demand. Set up a custom fan profile if its noise you are worried about??

The fans are terribly loud but they push like mofos.

Yeah they do push pretty good don't they? I put one on max speed and held it to my face and it just about dried my contacts so i'd say their good xDD Put I heard that the way the waterblock was made that the pump needs all the strength it can get to push the water through it. But I was also kindof wondering if there was a way to atleast slow it down some because the thing is kinda loud if I stop all my fans. But nontheless I'm absolutly in love with this cooler. All the features work perfect for me. Only weird thing I notice is that it says my cpu temp is ridiculously hot xD How do I attach a photo? Im apparently not allowed to use Imgur

AMD systems sensors are not calibrated like those of the Intel bunch. so that is

why you'll see gross errors of temperatures, voltages and specs. not many (if any)

are exact/correct values.

your H100i temperature is the actual coolant temperature (not the same as CPU

temps) you'll note it doesn't fluctuate as much like the CPU temps. just keep the

coolant under 50°.

Also the corsair link software isn't reliable and would take the temps and figures with a grain of salt.

Get yo self some temp monitoring software or even aida as it would give better data.

Only weird thing I notice is that it says my cpu temp is ridiculously hot

When I was building my friends rig it had a Corsair H60, the temps were quite high for a 4790k (not OC'd) idling at 45 degrees.

Turns out its very easy to have the backplate the wrong way, If you look at the backplate there is a grove that is supposed to be at the top to allow 2 screws room. Check that. Apparently its a common problem with Corsair AIO's.

Hope this helps!
