meh

I swear I still have a machine with a sound card that could stop a bullet likely.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Most OEM cases have the left side riveted on where the rear screw are usually. I still have a PC in my basement with a Duron processor from AMD wayyyyy back in the day; still works which is funny

Gahhhh. I want to make it into a decent HTPC or something.

Well i had a spare eMachines case that i wanted to use for my build but found out that it was small and couldn't fit in my parts in so i used the case for holding old pc parts in it :D

Aw that's cool. :D I'm not sure if the 8100 is ATX, and the mobo shield is it's own size sooo idk if it'll even work anyway... Maybe this is a sign to start a stash!

A user on YouTube who goes by the name of Uxwbill has a few videos of really nasty computers. The one I'm thinking of, is also a Dell, I believe a Dimension in the 9000 series. The computer in that video is so many levels dirtier than this one, and he even goes on to mention in that video that that computer wasn't even the dirtiest he'd ever seen.

Personally, the dirtiest computer I've ever seen was some random iPC computer from the late 90s. It came out of a smoker's home, and even though it wasn't overly dusty or dirty, it smelled awful. When it was turned on, it filled the whole room with stale cigarette stink. So, to combat that, I stuck dryer sheets inside the case and behind the rear exhaust fans and within a month it smelled fine. But, I recycled the computer several months ago because I got sick of seeing it around. I like to collect older computer systems, and that was one of the computers I just got bored of because it was so uninteresting.

Mind you, I'm still looking for some older Dell Dimensions from the late 90s. When I went to the Staples at Market Mall to recycle a 1997 IBM Aptiva (which unfortunately died, it got to a point where it wouldn't even do its power on self test, evident by the fact that it wouldn't even beep when all memory was removed) I actually saw a Dell Dimension which looked like it was a Dimension XPS T450 in the recycling bin. Oh you don't even know how tempted I was to take it, but I didn't because I had a strong feeling the store wouldn't agree with me taking it for various reasons. Plus, there was a chance that it was irrecoverably dead, so I just left it.

I have no signature. There is nothing to see here. Move along.
