I've never run into problems with latex gloves being static but you could always just wear an anti-static strap

most of them are powdered, becasue it can get really sweaty in latex

i also wear them, when building my PC i was like  "oooo shinyyy must touch" on an intel cpu socket, and it didnt post cuz i left some greae on it so i clened it with alcohol and it was fixed

Why not Powdered?

idk if it'll change anything but if the powder got on your components that may be bad for them. That said I don't actually know, just speculating on if powder may or may not be bad.

Question is.. why won't you watch them frequently if they're oily?

The powder shouldn't be any worse than dust, and your PC will accumulate enough of that between cleans without throwing a tantrum.

I don't see why you couldn't wear them. And powdered would just get powder on EVERYTHING.

I'd use vinyl gloves to avoid the threat of static, some vinyl gloves are designed for use in computers.

I am not so sure about latex or vinyl gloves but rubber is fine.

a lot of people have naturally over oily skin. i wash my hands frequently with dish washing liquid since it strips oils pretty good and my hands are still oily.

Yea, that's why everyone comes out of operating rooms with powder all over them all the time :rolleyes:

@Pugs501

They're powdered so they don't stick and you can get your hand in them, don't believe me? Then wash them out and let them dry then try to put them on. 1 Billion Internets you tear them trying and the correct size gloves not some XXXL gloves when you have a XS hand.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.
