Hey, i installed windows 8 from a ubs flashdrive a couple of hours back.

Now the screen is black and when i move the mouse a white coursor pops up a couple of secs and goes then it goes away and a purple screen shows up with Vent litt! written on it. (please Wait) for 1 sec or less!

 

Help it has been like this a couple of hours now!

try restarting your system 

if that does not work re-install

i have tried restarting the system still doesnt work but ill try to reinstall it

I think something went wrong during the installation. It is a good idea to try again. It is also advisable to insert the bootable flash drive in a USB 2.0 port, because sometimes there are issues with the on-board drivers for USB 3.0.

i just installed windows 7 ultimate so everything works!

i think there is some conperability issue with one of my components. :)

I've had a similar issue before and redownloading the iso for Win8 worked. (But then again, I reverted back to Win7 after 2 weeks, just couldn't handle it, it wants to be too many things at once and failing at everything)
