aio vs air

Gtre

Hi here my project http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/242987-building-again/

Im searching a cooler for a 4690k/4790k

the case is the h440 (black/red)

i look an aio like the h100i or kraken x60/61 for like clean appear, (the space)
or an air like v8 gts for the look ( i know the best it be dh15)

i want the cooler nice to see (black and red theme), and a best compromise between quiet and performance.

can u suggested me? thank you all

x61 for sure. From what I have heard H440 doesn't have good airflow.

Depends on how high you intend on overclocking. If the clock isn't insane, air is less of a hassle and can be cheaper. Only prob are dimm clearance issues if you intend to use ram with large heatsinks.

For overclock I will do it only when I need it in future (not extreme / insane)

For the ram I see 2400mhz like vengeance or Trident but I asked suggestion

x61 for sure. From what I have heard H440 doesn't have good airflow.

The H440 has bad airflow out of the top - the X61 would have restricted access to exhaust air out of the top.

I'd suggest a Cooler Master V8 or a Phanteks Ph-TC14PE_Bk (they look awesome, and performn near the NH-D14)

I'd go for the Coolermaster Glacer 240L or the Swiftech H220x because they are expandable and pretty much blow anything else out of the water...
