Chair help

General_Led

I really need to get a new chair badly. I'm looking at no more then $150. I thought about a dxracer but I can't drop $350 on a chair right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Go try some out at a local furniture store. Or check second hand stores

There's nowhere in Georgia with chairs on display that you can actually sit on? Here in Canada we have a store called Staples which sells a ton of office supplies, computers, desks, chairs, monitors etc...all inside a warehouse type building.

Staples sells desks and chairs in their stores too in the US...., it's just not Canada that applies that.

When shopping for a chair, always try before you buy. If you spend more that 3 hours/day in it, then any little thing you don't like will make you hate the chair

I wasn't even aware Staples was in the US.

Well I live in bum fuck Georgia and there aren't really any furniture stores around. I'd basically have to drive about 45 minutes to get to an actual city.

IKEA Markus is what I have.

It is not super expensive, very comfortable and has some "support" for your lower back.....dunno know how to explain that. So it is actually pretty much a nice ergonomic, comfortable chair. ;-)

I know IKEA makes crappy products, but it really depends on what you buy. Some things are cheap in every ways, some things are actually good value.

I'd look for a Herman Miller Equa 2, sometimes you can find them on eBay for under $150. They really support your back, and while being a basic office chair with not a lot of adjustments, they just feel right.
