Will my Alphacool Monsta 360 fit with a gtx 980 in a air 540?

Savant

Hey there, I doing a loop using the Air 540. I'm watercooling my GTX 980 and i7 4790k. I wanted to know if I could fit my Alphacool Monsta 360 in the front with the fans facing the GPU. Will I have enough space?

I don't think so. Having a UT60 in the front of the 540 AIR is already a tight fit that also limits your options for a potential top rad down the road.

Not to mention, it's recommend you do push/pull on the Monsta. Which bring things to a config with a thickness 130mm.

A 360 UT60 with some good static pressure optimized fans in push or pull would work in the front of the 540 AIR and it has a GTX 980 + 4790K covered.

In the off chance that you do want even lower temps, you can always add a 240 XT45 or UT60 in the top of the 540 AIR.

I guess I'll pick up some UT60s.

I am having a 240. So the UT60 will fit?

Yup. Plus they'll absolutely devour the heat of your CPU and GPU. :)

Aight. Thanks. :)

I was going to do a overkill 900D build, I wouldn't utilize it though.
