I used to use GeDoSaTo for the same thing. I prefer Nvidia DSR now that I have it, because it seems to have a wider range of compatibility and isn't limited to DirectX 9.

I have DSR 4.00x in Nvidia control panel but still cant change game settings to 4k only my desktop to 4k.. you know what I can do maybe ?

I finally got it working by enabling 1.00x up to 4.00x  and not just enable 4.00x <3 !!!

(Enable all and not just 4.00x) and it works with 4.00x !! )

Glad you figured it out. Yeah, the interface is a little weird. I don't see why you'd want to uncheck any of the options, all you'd be doing is depriving yourself of choices. At least it seems to work well once you figure it out.

Sadly desktop 4k + game window mode fullscreen seems better then 1080p + 4k ingame.. Makes no sense. try it.
