Alright so i needed a new pair of headphones after the unfortunate end to my old pair. So i was price comparing when suddenly!!!

The headphone is sold at $99. And second, they're probably not going to be the best for the money. You (probably) don't know the deal: People here (apart from the 50 random non-audio sub regulars you've attracted to this thread) have been recommending ATH M40x forever.

Go in-store and actually try them in comparison to another brand... not the best set of cans.

To be honest one of the headphones you should buy near that price point is the Audio Technica ATH-M50, got mine around 9 months ago and I think that they are amazing!

Hey dude, take a look at the Sennheiser HD280 Pro. They're a bit over $100 but they're built like a tank and sound great. Also look for proper headphone stores such as Jaben Audio or Sound Corp.

Although honestly. M50x and M50 is just one headphone. Try some other ones. The audio sub will never learn anything if everybody gets the same stuff. Try out the KNS 8400. It's $80 used on Amazon right now. Expect some elevated bass, so think M50x instead of M40x.
