How to report forum members?

SlaughterSmurf

Yeah I found a member who shall remain nameless who goes around the GPU section intentionally going off topic and fanboying all over conversations with the purpose of annoying people and making them frusterated. How would I report such an individual and is that a report able offense?

If it was just fanboying and not intentionally annoying people beyond just myself and making essentially spam posts, then I probably would. And actually that's not true, this forum is very good about fanboys and this individual is the only toxic member I have actually seen on this forum.

Also, reporting the post is different from reporting a member.

Oh dammit I wish I had known that... well time to retype my paragraph -_-

let's just say the person we're referring to absolutely loves AMD.

Okay, I don't really like AMD so much... Didn't have a very good experience. It came on par with my GTX 760 that I paid C$255 free ship & free games. I paid C$335 + shipping costs for the two 280X with no free games. Compared to the installation of nVidia, AMD is like shoddy 3rd party work with a 15 year old GUI. Everything is just done the way it should be during & after the installation with nVidia. My computer crashed the first install with AMD, I had the R9 280X in Crossfire & Couldnt get CrossX to work on most games. when it was working the game didn't run well BUG city, more stable with one card. Cards got hot, didn't OC so well even with the DirectCU II cooler. Got the XFX R9 290, Thnking it would be night & day compared to the 280X, That thing wasn't that much faster in the benchmarks I did. It was like 280 to 280X benchmarks but cost C$260 more, not much cost to performance ratio there. Well I'm glad I didn't get stuck with that 290, I was apart of that mix up where I ordered a 290X & got a 290. I was refunded in full, & got BF4 free! Thanks AMD!! nice parting gift. I was able to sell the 280X's, one for C$250 & the other was more tough but sold it with a i3 & z87 chipset computer I built.

Am I going to meet the guy now? nVidia fan boy here! All i know is the name beginning with I and ending with O & he absolutely loves AMD.

Special Cases

  • Member Profiles: Please do not simply report a member profile unless there is content on it that is against the Code of Conduct (inappropriate avatar, content in the "About Me" section, inappropriate Profile Feed items, etc.). If a member has been posting report-worthy content, report that content, not the member's profile. IF reporting a specific profile, indicate clearly why in the report comments.
  • Personal Conversations: If you are being harassed via personal messages, immediately file a report. The forum staff do not have access to your personal conversation unless it is reported. Once reported, we will have access to that specific conversation to be able to review it. NOTE: It is vital that you report offensive PMs immediately upon first reading. The other participant will be able to block you from the conversation, which will render you unable to report it, and we will be unable to help you. If you are unsure about whether or not to file a report, we still recommend filing a report. If it turns out to be less harmful than you originally thought, we can always still close the matter, but if measures do need to be taken, it is vital that you start the reporting process as soon as you are able.
