Best Price to Performance Gaming Laptop?

-I need a laptop for work and am looking for something that is atleast 1080p

Has a i7 Processor

-Has atleast a new gen GPU Ex.) 880M

-Must be atleast 15 inches+ on the screen I prefer a 15 inch ish screen.

pretty much. I reccomend getting something that has an MXM gpu (the website, be it xotic pc or lpc digital ect will mark it as "user upgradable"). That way you can swap the GPU if you wish at a later date for an upgrade.

Well, I would be more conformable with a name brand, because this seems like it was custom made and cheap which is good, but manufactures like these in my experience have inconsistent products and are more likely to fail.

Clevo's are pretty good quality. Alienware started as a clevo re-seller before dell bought them.  That said, they do have flaws. If you are more comfortable with spending more on a name brand with potentially better support, I totally understand.

Yeah, Alienware re branding them is what worries me as I've had friends who have bought those and who have had them die on them real quick

That was YEARS ago. Dell owns them now. And they are...ugh

Again, it's not always about the quality of the laptop, but also the support quality.

Keep that in mind when you shop.

I've only had my Sager laptop for a few months, but I've been pretty happy with it so far. If you're still willing to consider them, the Sager NP8268-S would be a good choice:

Just keep in mind that Xotic PC doesn't automatically sell Sager laptops with a copy of Windows (they verify this with you over the phone before the order is finalized). If you prefer a name brand, I'd probably go for the MSI GT60. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152554

 

Between the two, I'd probably prefer the Sager because I like the CPU and GPU to have a separate fan for each, rather than have one fan cool both. Still, both laptops come with a 870M which is nice.
