Quiet 40 mm fans (if there is such a thing)

RadSalacan

So i'm looking for 40 mm fans to replace the ones I have in my G skill RAM cooler.  The ones I have now are the originals and are, lets face it, poorly made and noisy.  I'd like it if I could find ones that have blue LEDs if possible to keep the color scheme. Any leads would be awesome.  Thanks.

Just get rid of the entire cooler, its unnecessary noise and RAM really doesn't require a cooler.

if the ram has decent heat sinks then the case airflow is plenty

As people have said, ditch the RAM cooler.

Noctua have a 40mm fan though, if you're an onion-dwelling lunatic.

A RAM cooler?

...Ram doesn't even require heatsinks anymore, let alone a dedicated cooler

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Having a RAM cooler is your first problem

Thank you literally everyone for telling me something I already know and barely even attempting to help.  It's simply a cosmetic thing.  i thought that with the nature of this crowd you might know of some little known suppliers that had really cool fans.  I'll look elsewhere.

wow somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed,  we were attempting to help, by telling you to get rid of it because ram coolers are shit. Anyway, as for decent 40mm blue led fans it literally took me 1 google search to find 2.

I understand that you guys thought you were helping.  Fact is though...I know full well that the cooler isn't doing anything beneficial to my RAM.  Which is why I didn't ask for a cooler that cools better.  I specifically asked for quiet and blue LED fans.  None of the responses gave any mention of either.  Thank you for your links this second time around (both go to the same product BTW). Another thing I know full well of is how to use Google.  The reason I asked here wasn't because I'm some inept moron who can't use a search engine.  What I was hoping for was someone who genuinely felt a desire to help might read my post and turn me on to some obscure supplier that might not jump up in the top 5 pages of a Google search. If I want opinions, I'll ask for those.
