With this sort of budget, I would build 2 separate systems. You could go for a workstation gpu (Quadro or a Titan Black) and a Xeon or Haswell-E cpu depending on your requirements. Then just build a separate gaming rig based around an i5 and a 290cf/780sli etc.

Yeah. IT is a good idea bt the 2 systems would not be as fast as the 10000$ one.
