Most companies require that you register your product to be eligible for their warranty service. E-tailers (Amazon, Newegg, NCIX, ETC) and/or brick/mortar stores items were purchased from may accept returns/warranty service, however it is not likely to be as lengthy as manufacturer warranty, and may be subject to additional fees (restocking, shipping, ETC).
