AMD Build: Less than exceptional CPU great GPU.

Intel Build: Great CPU passable GPU.

Do not  as I  do, and  not  as I say. Instead do as you may..

Welcome to Linus Tech Tips!

I would get neither. Get a 4690K, Asus Z97-A and an R9 280/280X

Is there any reason that you have to stick to these 2 builds?

You may want to change the SSD to a 250GB one depend on what are you doing with it, or the HDD to 2TB one

Awesome rig! Personally I would go for the WD Caviar black HDD, but meh, thats just me.

@Jason.kleber1 with the cash you saved with above build, you could get a higher RAM, a "higher tier" PSU, higher capacity Storage and/or a better looking Case.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
