  1. Thats actually pretty nice, didnt think there's an option for both top and side
  2. Thanks, I ended up getting something like this, just with blue ascent instead
  3. Oof, yeah, I guess I will have to go with the side one then, not too keen on the look of the transparent one Thank you so much for the picture
  4. I havent look into keyboard in a really really long time (my "latest" knowledge about keyboard was back when there was only 3 type of switches), and I just got myself a K10 Max with south facing LED from what I understand. I'd like shinethrough keycaps that illuminate the letters on it and from the look of it it seems like i dont have alot of options outside of these 3: - Bottom side shinethrough - Pudding (that let the light shine evenly-ish through the entire key thus litting the letters on the surface?) - Transparent keycap I was wondering if someone here whom also have a south facing LED keyboard and 1 of those keycaps type can help me take a picture/video to help me see how they look like? (Or is there any other options?) I cant seem to be able to find any video of them somehow
  5. So im looking for a ANC Over ear headphones and so far I narrowed it down to the Soundcore Q45, Sony XM4/5/Ult. Before I commited to 1 I just have a few question: - I know that the Q45 and Xm4 is foldable, is it sturdy? I dont usually have the best experience with foldable stuff. If I decided to go with either of those 2 is there a hard case option that allow me to put them in without folding them? - I think all 4 of them have a headphone jack, does it still work when its out of battery and I just plug it into my phone (via headphone jack to usb c adapter?) - Anything I should know before hand? (Like i heard that the XM5 hinge broke often or something?) - How's the app experience? I have a pair of Soundcore Liberty 4 before and the soundcore app is pretty good i think? being able to customize all the taps to whatever I wanted. Budget and location - Around 100-200 CAD-ish, and Im willing to look on ebay or 2nd hand too. For reference I can get a Q45 for ~ 100 CAD from bestbuy, XM4 for ~180 CAD on ebay or similar-ish 2nd hand but will need to change the earpad or stuff, XM5 is like 220-250 ish? Ult is around 180 Source/Amp - Phone + Work PC (I've never use multiconnect headset before, I assume it automatically switch when 1 have sound and other doesnt?) How the gear will be used - Office + walk around, so preferable something comfortable so I can wear all day Preferred tonal balance - Honestly no clue. Im somewhat about to tell the different between headset when hearing them back to back (was looking at some video of ppl putting the Ult, XM4 and Q45 on those mic with the 2 ears on 2 side thingy), but I honestly couldnt say which one is better Preferred music genres - I mostly listen to video games music (TWEWY, Expedition 33, FF, Persona etc) so the genre and stuff is all over the place, one day it might be rock and the other might be classical lol Past gear experience - I mostly prefer over ear stuff. My current one for my gaming PC is a HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless because 300+ hours battery so I dont have to charge it for a long time + low latency and mic, but this isnt what Im going to buy this new headset for. I have a pair of Audio Technica M50X too, and I used to use a kinda sketchy bluetooth adapter for it when all the phone stop having a headphone jack so its not the most amazing thing in the world. Also side note, why are none of them waterproof/resistant?
  6. As the title said, was wondering if anyone have a recommendation for an auto clicker app that can record your click and replay it with delays in between clicks? better yet something that allow you to manually edit each action would be nice. Either ios or android is fine. I was trying to look for 1 on the app/play stores and there are so many of them that all required monthly payment, and none of what I've try so far allow you to add much delays if at all in between each tap
  7. So im thinking about turning an old Dell Optiplex into a home server and just abit stumped on which software to use for stuff. I plan to run ubuntu on it and then plex for media sharing, but then what do I need if I want cloud storage/nas/ minecraft server for friends? Is Ubuntu still the best choice or should I look into something else? and which software can I use for those purpose?
  8. Budget (including currency): $1-2k CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Other details This is my current PC https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/wCWcvW , long story short its a Ryzen 5 3600 with a 2070, with a 1440p 144hz GSync monitor as my main monitor So I was planning to upgrade the GPU, but im not entirely sure if the Ryzen 5 3600 would bottleneck the 3070 at 1440p or not, and if it does maybe I will have to upgrade CPU/Mobo along with GPU as well, but in that case should I just go to the 3080 or is it way overkill for 1440p?
  9. I know, that's why Im trying to buy 1 today
  10. So I finally decided to get a 1440p monitor, now the question is which one to get. Im considering these 3 atm but Im not sure which one to get (or is there any other better for around the same price?) 11. So I notice that some website like 9gag (or just chrome in general?) if allowed to be open on my screen with nothing over it then my computer screen will never turn off no matter how long I left it, and if I open like fire explorer and keep that on top instead then after 5 minutes the screen turn off normally. Any one have any idea why that happen and how can I stop that from happen (force the screen to turn off after 5 mins of inactivity?)
  12. H500 only have 2 front USB port, 700... now that you said it... no idea why I didnt choose it... I think my options now are between that, Thermaltake View 31 and 32 and the Corsair 750D...
  13. So Im looking to build a new PC and have already narrowed it down to these part: PCPartPicker Part List: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/KYPQ8Y CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($249.99 @ Mike's Computer Shop) Motherboard: Asus PRIME B450-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard ($139.75 @ Vuugo) Memory: G.Skill Sniper X 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($115.99 @ Canada Computers) Storage: Intel 660p Series 2.048 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($250.95 @ Vuugo) Storage: Seagate Barracuda Computer 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.99 @ Newegg Canada) Video Card: Zotac GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB GAMING AMP Video Card ($636.50 @ Vuugo) Case: NZXT H440 ATX Mid Tower Case ($147.50 @ Vuugo) Power Supply: Gigabyte 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($89.99 @ Canada Computers) Total: $1700.66 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-08-03 10:07 EDT-0400 2TB NVMe just because + I already have 5TB HDD, Don't worry about the 2TB HDD as it's for another computer, I just put it here for convenience sake. And I already got a 2070 2nd hand for cheap so no change on that either. The problem now is the case. I really love just about everything about the H440. But just about the only ppl who still have that case in stock are Vuugo and I haven't heard alot of good thing about them so I'm looking for other options... anyone has any suggestion for a case that's about $200 CAD or less? And with the look of things like the H440, Corsair 750D or Fractal Design Define R6 (also seem out of stock everywhere), with 4 or more front usb ports?
  14. As the title said. I'd like to find a case that is like the H440 since its getting really hard to find a H440 these days (Is it discontinued?) And by "like H440" I mean the case is somewhere around 100 USD mark, have 4 (or more) usb slot on top of the case, sound dampening foam inside the case and 3.5" bracket with anti-vibration stand. A minimalistic look is a plus too.
  15. I know I dont need SSD to store game, but I also already have 5TB of HDD lol, these 2 TB SSD is more of a "why not" thing Didnt think about the RX 5700, havent been really follow the GPU market for a while now. Good catch.
