It's Linus's forum, so it's safe to assume everyone shares the Noctua fetish, right?

idk about replacements since I haven't bothered to change mine yet. It's too much of a hassle unscrewing them, plus the stock fans in my rig barely make a sound anyway.

Git Gud.

Noctua is the best.

You can get better fans, like NB Eloops, SP120 quiet edition, Gentle Typhoon AP15 that is if you can find them

Yes, Linus likes Noctua

Yes, they are not the best fans, let's stop pretending they are.

NB eloops are made in germany and some retailers like NCIX don't carry them.

They are just as good as noctua. no

Corsair fans are extremely loud, even the quiet edition. no

Nobody runs them at full speed though since they are so obnoxious which means you actually dont get the max cfm or mm/h2o

Error: 410

Corsair fans are extremely loud, even the quiet edition. Their CFM is unexceptional although the static pressure is not bad for the SP.

Quiet editions are not loud whatsoever, at 12 volts they're quieter than NF-F12's.

Because measurements are always right when there's no standardized "way of measuring fans"

I've owned GT's, NF-F12, and SP120 QE's.  I can say with upmost certainty that the GT's are the quietest, then SP120's are close behind, and NF-F12's are the loudest.

Sp120 QE are actually really close to GT's in terms of noise levels.

Scythe has stopped making them though so you may not be able to buy any.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.
