gigabyte easy tune works

I tried gigabyte easy tune on my gaming 7 board and set it to light and in cpu-z It said the clock speed was 4GHzs

Will use more volts than needed but otherwise will do what it says on the tin yes.

good deal, but since you have CPU-Z open, at what voltage are you getting

4.0GHz? what kind of loaded temperatures do you see, using either XTU

(Intel Extreme Tuning Utility) or AIDA64?

 

not saying the auto clock functions of any of the manufactures don't work,

it is usually how they get them to work is usually the dangerous part.

 

my ASUS auto clock 4.6 at 1.35v with adaptive mode and 88° loaded XTU

(manual mode). i self tuned on manual mode 4.6GHz 1.29v and 75° on

H100i 900rpm hyperborea fans.

I set it back to default in easy tune

 

If it was at 1.153, then that's perfectly acceptable but 1.53 is extremely high.
