My experience with the Destiny Beta thus far

The_Strict_Nein

Hmm, 12.6GB download. Alright, I'll leave it for a bit

*a bit*

Only 9% downloaded...oh wait, it says I can play now. Sweet.

Sure, I'll agree to this contract, give another one of my children away to Bungie

"Waiting for Destiny to Install *9% Done*".

Well.

Why tell me I can play a game when all it's going to do is dump me into another install screen?

Anyway, still got another few hours to go on that downloading.

30 fps.

This should be titled 'my console experience thus far' lol

Welp, the children have arrived.

Also I managed to download the game in about 20 minutes, and install in about 30 minutes. Not sure why it's taking you so long. It's worth it though, the game is very, very good.

Oh, the age is what makes your opinions worth anything, NOT.

Please dude, don't act like your 94 and look down on teenagers as parasites.

I get a headache from playing at 30fps. My health is worth more than me playing Destiny.

Eh, I don't really mind frame rates, although I do love 60 FPS I came from console gaming and it doesn't bother me nearly as much as not playing a goddam awesome looking game. If a PC version isn't announced by the time Destiny comes out on console (which at this point could be 2017), I'll still buy it.

Good thing I had a friend tell me beforehand that there was going to be another download.

Plus it's kinda silly to think the downlaod is only 200MB or whatever it was, considering the Alpha was somewhere like 7GB or whatever I can't remember lol

Depending on where you are in the world, your internet is probably considerably faster :P

12GB for me to download would take.....4-5 hours, thats not a bad speed for Australia too.
