For that price you might as well get a windforce 290

For that price you might as well get a EVGA 780

4GB with a 256bit bus is pointless...rule of thumb is 125bit per 1GB.

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow; Motherboard: MSI ZZ490 Gaming Edge; CPU: i7 10700K @ 5.1GHz; Cooler: Noctua NHD15S Chromax; RAM: Corsair LPX DDR4 32GB 3200MHz; Graphics Card: Asus RTX 3080 TUF; Power: EVGA SuperNova 750G2; Storage: 2 x Seagate Barracuda 1TB; Crucial M500 240GB & MX100 512GB; Keyboard: Logitech G710+; Mouse: Logitech G502; Headphones / Amp: HiFiMan Sundara Mayflower Objective 2; Monitor: Asus VG27AQ

4GB on a 770 is pointless. It won't be able to utilize more than 3GB of it, with playable framerate.

For that price + $100 to 120 you might as well can get a EVGA 780

Fixed that for you.

But yeah, the GTX 770 has rather stupid pricing, regardless of whether it's the 2 or 4 GB variant. An R9 280X would be practically the same as the 4 GB GTX 770 in performance. Heck, the R9 280X is even faster in newer games. Check any reviews made in the past 3 months. An R9 290 would be much better for the price of the 4 GB GTX 770 while the GTX 780 is also a good buy if you're gaming at resolutions between 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 where the GTX 780 still maintains a healthy 5 to 10% performance lead over the R9 290. I'm talking about apples-to-apples, non-reference R9 290s and GTX 780s btw. All factory overclocked.

Rig: Intel Core i7-2600 / Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X / 2 x 8 GB DDR3-1600 / Seagate Hybrid SSHD 2 TB / FSP500-60APN 500W / 3x 20" 1600x900 LED / 51" Samsung F5000 plasma / Acer K330 LED projector
15.6" Clevo W650SJ: Intel Core i7-4810MQ / Geforce GTX 850M / 1 x 8 GB DDR3-1600 / Hitachi 1 TB 7200 rpm
14" Lenovo Y460: Intel Core i5-520M / Mobility Radeon HD 5650 / 2 x 4 GB DDR3-1333 / Hitachi 500 GB 5400 rpm
