Update:
making a new metal motherboard tray and the diagonal plastic parts

Ok, what i did in all this time:

metal
making a new plate to hold the motherboard more securely.
I used the metal sheet of another pc case sidepanel and made holes for most of the cables (they are hidden behind the motherboard, see second picture)
i will make a new triangle to cover the "rear"IO of the motherboard, so the current one is temporary.
GPU channel/room/space needs an extra cover as the current motherboard tray is a bit to small.

plastic
i also made the diagonal plates. They still need holes for the tubes and the bottom one needs a bigger hole for the reservoir
i will also need to make a mounting system for the diagonal plates

not many pictures (sry for crappy phonecamera, will try to use real camera again next time  )

idk why the phone wouldn't focus

i just put some random sata cables, to visualise where al the usb stuff would be connected.

next update

please bear in mind, the acrylic sheets will be wrapped in a glossy orange wrap, and all the metal parts will be repainted (obviously)

Update:
waterblocks mounted

sooooo, waterblocks are mounted now, the angled holes for 2 of the 4 tubes are drilled and the angled hole for the reservoir is drilled. This wasn't easy.
Also the plate on the back (where the IO of the mobo goes through) is partly mounted. (looks like a mirror for now but almost everything needs at least a layer of paint anyway)

This is my gpu for now, i would have really liked a full cover, but they don't make them for my card. This will have to do the job.
also, i had to trim the vertical piece of metal to be able to fit the waterblock.

obviously i had to correct the angle of the ek logo
cpu block looks happy now

hooray, the pump fits
edit: the angle of the holes may not appear to be 45°, but don't be fooled, your eyes are deceiving you, because physics and light and stuff

expect update next weekend perhaps? maybe sooner

Update:
tubes bent

as promised, here is the next update

Seeing all these people having all these problems with their hard tubing bends, i asked my dad for a little help as he is more familiar with bending tubes.

It was tricky, but i am happy with the result.

They still have to be cut to the right length.

The remaining 2 holes for the tubes in the diagonal plates are also drilled now, and some mounting plates to hold the big diagonal plates were made (i don't have pictures of it now)

-awesomeness-

This is so far the most unique and amazing build I've ever seen. Bravo!

some things you guys might want to know + todo list:

  • the fans will go on top of the radiator (so on top of the current case)
  • as you can see i am fairly close to the completion of stage 1 (see below)
  • i will split the build in to 2 stages:
  1. a temporary stage (so i know that everything still works, and so i can play a more demanding game as i am doing everything on my laptop now) Todo for temporary stage:
    1. painting and mounting brackets to hold the plates
    2. cutting the tubing in the right length
    3. mounting everything (including fans) (the cables will be a hell of a job)
    4. filling the waterloop
    5. hoping it boots + no leaks
  2. the final stage: this is going to include the things the temporary stage doesn't such as
    1. sleeved wiring (this has to be done fully custom as there isnt enough place behind the motherboard tray for connectors for sleeved extension cables)
    2. making a cover for the rear I/O of the motherboard
    3. putting a window in the sidepanel
    4. closing a fan hole in the sidepanel of the motherboard side
    5. making a completely new front and top cover for the case (this is going to be hard to make, as i don't want to make compromises)
    6. case lighting (i might even let it change colors depending on the noise from sound playing from the computer or change them according to temperatures)
