Is it hard to sleave? I want to resleave the cables on my Corsair CX500 not individualy like you guys did but like they are from factory I wanted to do it with blue sleaving and a tighter sleaving than whats on it now

Not at all, it's just very time consuming and having patience is key to making any sleeving job look very nice.

Quick question can you resleeve non modular power supplies or do they have to be modular?

If it's non modular, you'd have to either leave a bit of wire showing at the end, or open the PSU itself.

Caant I just but heatshrink at the end of the cable to cover it?

Yeah you can, it wont look as clean but its doable.

Here is some of my work from my recently completed Leviathan Build.

I had initially started using heatshrink because I'm using paracord.  you can see the 8 pin.  But then I found Lutro's video tutorial on using the heatshrink-less method which I really like.

I just love your sleeving....So cool.

Which cables do you guys think are the most difficult?

Im considering having some of the more difficult cables sleeved professionally and then do the rest myself....

the standard mobo cables are all the same hardness since you're just doing the same thing over different amounts of cables. the 24 pin usually has some double wires which  can take a little bit to learn. more and more gpu cables are havinga double wire too.

but to answer your question, hands down inline sata cables are the hardest.

It is the almighty sleeving god lutr0   :o

I've started sleeving my psu this afternoon, I'm doing it with paracord the heatshrinkless way. I think the fingerprint on my thumb and index finger are gone   I burnt them multiple times  , thats going to be fun at work tomorrow... :P

Anyway I've just done 5 single cables and I'm done with it for tonight because my lighter is empty ^_^ It is a lot of fun to do actually (except for the burning your fingerprints of part). I'll post some pics sundaynight I think so you can run down on my sleeving skills :D

Also the inside of paracord makes quite good backing for fly fishing I would think. :D

I just hide my drives instead so hopefully won't be needing to do those;-)

As promised, here 2 (really bad pictures) of my first attempt at sleeving ever! I'm sorry the pictures are really bad but I haven't got a fancy camera like some of you do.

Minus the little bit of fraying on the paracord, it looks really nice :D really good work for your first time.

Thats what I ment with bad picture, all the white spots are because I was too lazy to set the camera settings right for the lighting. In real there is (surprisingly) very little fraying...

I'll upload some more pictures when I'm done sleeving the whole thing. Enough sleeving for today though.
