What was your first laptop?

The Dell XPS M170 was my first laptop and made it from Windows XP Home Edition all the way through Vista to 7 and 8 until it died and i sold it almost a year ago now. I loved the thing to death, could drop it and throw it around and it would just take it.

It's always funny reading high end specs of products from several years ago. Of course at the time it was impressive, but now we look at it and laugh, kinda like what we'll do to Titan Z specs in years to come.

You can find them on eBay with scratches then if you wanted to spend another $200 you can get replacement plamrests, lids and you can even get 2GB of RAM in now along with whatever the next step up from the 7800 is

Not worth the money honestly, a $400 apu laptop would beat breaks off it. If I found one of these in a yard sale for like $50 though I would scream like a little school girl though haha

It had a horrible accident last year. it fell down the stairs (stupid dog!)

Sadly, it didn't survive.

My first laptop that wasn;t made for gaming, but I did use it for gaming: Compaq Presario V3700. It was horrendous with no GPU at all and ear-damaging sound quality. Mine still works, despite being taken apart and put back together at least 50 times. :mellow:

My first laptop and only laptop to this day is a Thinkpad W500, I bought it used a few years ago for about $300. Only reason I bought it was because it had a 1920x1200 screen.
