£1050 - £1100 gaming/work station build

jd_guy17

The budget for this build is a maximum of £1100 and I will order the parts in the UK. I would want to use it for school work, programming and playing games such as: Minecraft, BF4 and Civ 5. I would like to run 1 monitor to start with but then buy 1 more at a later stage. I would like them to be full HD. Monitors also don't have to be included in the budget. I already have a keyboard, mouse ect.

Here is what I've come up with so far: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3sQC1

I would also like to last me at least  5 years with very few upgrades.

Thanks in advance! :)

Get better RAM, and PSU might be a little bit overkill.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

Get at least 1600mhz ram, and invest some more in better fans, also I'd look at Samsung or Intel SSD's.
And you really shouldn't run wireless. For the love of ping and reliability attach a cable to it.

BTW,
Welcome to the forums. :)

Looks pretty good. I'd get 2x4 GB or 2x8 GB memory sticks, to get full dual channel bandwidth (unless I'm mistaken).

Can't you run a wire to your pc?

You really shouldn't be using wireless for gaming...

Other than that, the build that you made there, is great.

Also could you suggest any good monitors that are not very expensive but good?
