yup, everyone is going to recommend the hyper 212 evo. go with that unless you have more money to spend

Not at all if you have anything above 65 watts which is pretty much everything but an i3.

I am pretty sure they dont send a broken cooler with EVERY CPU... it works, its loud and its just able to keep your temps down nothing more

Not at all if you have anything above 65 watts which is pretty much everything but an i3.

I can't hear mine running on a 3770 at about 2,5-3,8ghz at all. My PSU and HDD is louder

Thermalright True Spirit 140. Cheap and cools a few degrees lower than the D14. Its drawback is that it is very tall and quite wide.
