Note: This build is for my girlfriend and she was the one who decided upon the case.

I'm by no means very good at this, so please pardon anything i might've missed / done wrong  :P

What paint and prep work did you use? I'm planning on doing the same thing to my Black/Red H440.

I just used regular spray paint. I tested the paint on the spare PCI bracket that my GPU took up to make sure the red could fully cover the black. It took about 5-6 coats to get the right color. You might want to do a base coat tho. The ssd mount should be no problem since it is matte paint.

NZXT missed an opportunity to make the H440's default color scheme like that.

Where did you buy the h440 from? How long did it take to ship? everywhere i look, it is either out of stock or "1-2 months shipping" like on Amazon

I bought it during batch 2 back around mid feb. took about two weeks.

Buy it straight from nzxt armory, they ship via international checkout for non us customers. They have the estimated date as to when the next batch will start shipping.

Sweet rig man :)

Thanks!

how does the h105 work for you? i have one to and i think it works great

It performs pretty well. I have a mild overclock on my 8320 at 4.0 ghz with 1.3v.

My h105 with sp120s keeps it at 30-40 during light use. I set my fan curve to spin at around 600+ rpm  below 40 degrees. Totally silent, no pump noise aswell.
