How to paint your converse:

TechTheWorld

Hello fellow tech enthusiasts. I recently painted my converse so I thought why not share?

For this project I wanted them to have a  "Galaxy" look to them.

So right to it. Supplies you will need:

1 pair of Converse.

Whatever color acrylic paint you want. I used red, blue, yellow and white.

Either some normal paint brushes or sponge brushes. I used sponge brushes.

Some type of tape.

An old toothbrush.

Paper towels or something to clean up paint.

Some form of food. Preferably sweet.

Step one:

Take off laces and tape up the sides and converse logo. You really want to take your time and do this right because it won't look very good if you get paint on the sides.

Step two:

Now that your shoes are nice and taped up safe from harmful substances, start painting! I mixed red and blue to make a purplish color. I started on the back inside and went from there. I only painted about half the shoe purple.

Step tres:

Now that both shoes are about halfway covered with the purple mix red and white to make a pinkish color. Then paint the rest of the shoes that color.

Step four: Now that you have the base colors you want to mix it up a little. I dabbed some purple on the pink and vice versa. Giving it a nice look.

Step five:After you have mixed the two colors and dabbed it all up add some stars! I just dipped the toothbrush in white and then used my finger to pull the bristles back. Just kind of use that to spray the sides with white bits.

The finished product:

I really wouldn't do this to a pair of shoes.

Good to know. Thanks for you input :)

Ye I have seen those. I just didn't want to put 70$ into a new pair when I had these old ones laying around. Plus it was fun. And those are awesome! They look pretty sweet.
