Efficiency and cost, that's literally it as far as the ratings go. By the time you break even with spending the extra in terms of savings in electricity costs - your PSU would be several years old.

 

Platinum over Gold is only worth it if the cost isn't that different. Otherwise, you'd be waiting forever to get return on investment.

I really hope you didn't get an 1920X just for gaming as it's really not a good gaming CPU... at least not for high refresh rate.

 

Either ways, there is absolutely no reason not to get the cheaper PSU, a Seasonic Focus 1000w Gold is perfectly good quality, your system could work out of a 850W more than fine already to begin with.

My setup is not focused for gaming, more for editing.
