What companies make LED strips for the inside of cases?
I know Bitfenix and NZXT both make them, however they're both mounted to black strips and I need (well, would like and would be idea if they were) white or clear.

The black strips are the PCBs that they are soldered onto. As far as I'm concerned, there are only black, white, and bare copper PCBs available for LED strips (or at least those were the only options I could find; my LED strips are custom from a supplier). Black and white would most likely be the choices you'd see being offered by the likes of Bitfenix, NZXT, Phobya, etc. etc.

yeah Black is about all you will get, you may get clear but you will see the copper trace of the PCB as described. The only way around this I see is to make your own from white wire. Transparent wouldn't be an option.

Gotcha, thanks guys. I'll just mount them closer to the edge of the case and hope it doesn't look too off.

Every LED strip, which uses 12V power can be modified and used in a computer. I  personally bought two 400mm long cheap-o car LED strips (2USD each) and I have been using them in my main rig for quite some time now without any problem. Other than that Bitfenix has some Alchemy LED strips, but they are quite expensive in my opinion.

I ordered these a few months back:

The picture is misleading they look exactly like this:

Keep in mind you will have to solder a molex to it. Or you can just twist the wires together and use electrical tape.

I had bought a NZXT HUE and that worked out great for me in my old case. (Phantom Enthusiast).

I don't have it anymore as I sold it with the case and I now have a Phantom 820. (Has built-in LED strips so I didn't need it anymore.)

I'd recommend the HUE just because it's RGB and not a fixed color but if you're sure you only want a single color, I'd suggest get something like the other posters had suggested.

Hmmm interesting! Thanks

The only downfall to the eBay strips is that the double sided tape comes unstuck after a while, I simply hot glue them up when I use them for workbench lights, but you could pull the original double sided tape off and replace it with actual 3M tape.

I found a kit on Logisys, but it's only 12" and I'd need at least twice that. RGB changable with a remote. Seems pretty ideal.

I'm going to email them and ask if they do longer sets.
