PC not working as it supposed to be for 3 years

You need to download the BIOS file, unzip it, and copy it onto a USB stick.

There should then be a BIOS updating/flashing menu within the BIOS.

99% of the time, if you do not accidentally power off the computer mid-way through a BIOS flash, you are completely safe.

It can take a few minutes to update the BIOS -- the progress bar can be not moving at certain points -- but just be patient.

The step-by-step instructions on how to update your BIOS should be in your motherboard user manual.

You can get the online / digital version of the manual here:

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-B85M-D2V-rev-30#support-dl-bios

Your motherboard has three different revisions... rev 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0.

Find out which on your board is; motherboard box should indicate it...or you can look directly on the motherboard itself

thanks for the long reply! but when I tried following the manual it kinda went the wrong way. in the manual it refers to a single file that I need to put into my flashdrive to be able to update the bios. but, when I downloaded the bios from the manufactorer's website and I unzipped it, there were 3 files instead of a single one as I've seen on multiple other videos and I didnt know which one to choose.

there are the 3 files that were in the .rar and show up on the bios update. I'd say that I should go for the autoexec but I'm not really sure and I dont really want to screw up my motherboard.

Edit: after searching different forums I finally updated my bios and STILL have the same fps issue on all the games shown, damn.

hard to say then.

Unless you have an extra compatible motherboard and/or CPU to test, there won't be an easy way to troubleshoot...if it IS a hardware level issue.

Do you have pics of your system as it is at the moment?  Inside and out, front and back, don't change or unplug anything.

Just to make sure everything is installed correctly. E.g. Your motherboard has multiple PCIE slots but only one that runs at PCIE 3.0 16x. The other is PCIE 2.0 1x. This could seriously choke your performance if the card wasn't in the ideal slot.

It's just being thorough as a troubleshooting step.

Like was said above just to confirm everything is installed correctly, those screenshots of GPU usage at 8% but temps of 60 degrees make very little sense unless there is something seriously wrong.

I didn't even want to mention it but you have got the  cable hooked to the  output of the GPU? You aren't hooked up to the motherboard right?......I've seen it before......Sorry if this was a patronising suggestion but I've dealt with a fair few Id Ten T problems in my life :P:P

okay, I'll find some time to do this too. The thing is when I bought the pc I used their assembling service too, meaning that I never really questioned the quality of that work tbh. I'll hopefully have some time to do that soon
