Really nice price on the Vega 64!

Yup, and the 56 to be honest, and they have a 1000 of each available at those prices too, so at least it isn't only 50 or something silly like that. Especially with the 3 game bundled included too as I think there are steam codes for at least two of them, so you should hopefully be able to sell those if you don't want them & the other I think is a Ubisoft code, so doable, but slightly more of a pain. The Red Dragon Vega 56 is also going back down to £350 apparently as well.

Here in Sweden they want about 650 pounds for that Vega 64 card. If I had not just recently bought a 1070TI I would have gotten one of those :)

Half tempted for a Vega 64, as I always felt my '56 wasn't quite up to driving my 4k FreeSync monitor. But 2070 starts £460 is better/more efficient in most things, just without FreeSync support. #firstworldproblems

Main system: i9-7980XE, Asus X299 TUF mark 2, Noctua D15, Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200 3x 16GB 2R, RTX 3070, NZXT E850, GameMax Abyss, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, Acer Predator XB241YU 24" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync + HP LP2475w 24" 1200p 60Hz wide gamut
Gaming laptop: Lenovo Legion 5, 5800H, RTX 3070, Kingston DDR4 3200C22 2x16GB 2Rx8, Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB + Crucial P1 1TB SSD, 165 Hz IPS 1080p G-Sync Compatible

Yup, I have no real need for one to be honest, as I'm planning on a full new build next year most likely, so may wait for whatever follows but it is still super tempting as I like the look of the Nitro+ 64. Pretty sure Vega 56/64 is going EOL soon and they are just reducing stock.

I kinda did that in the past, and still wonder if it was worth it. That is, buying a product known to be near the end of its life, but is having sales...

Yeah, I have no problem with doing that to be honest, also as there are supposed to be some pretty big driver updates coming next month for them, it will just reduced my strippers & blow fund for when I go on holiday in a week. :D

Which card would be best to drive a 1440p 144hz in most main stream games? Overwatch/ csgo / GTAV/ Forza horizon 4 (GTAV not 144fps required)

Paired with an 4790K @ 4.7ghz? im tempted to buy the vega 56 or 64.

Build: 4690K @ 4.3Ghz, Z97 Asrock, 16GB RAM, R9 390, Fractal Design R5 Blackout

The 64 would probably be the most ideal for that, but I imagine the 56 might possibly be more than good enough (certainly for CSGO & Overwatch from what I understand - not sure what Forza actually needs). From what I've heard, the 64 has a better PCB than the 56 version, but that is second hand info. Id just look up some reviews if I were you.
