775 gift build, which cpu?

Hello all i have a few parts lying around for 775  builds I have 2 working mobos: EVGA 780i ftw slightly, and ASUS 95K-E, 2 Cpus: core quads Q9400 and Q6600, 6gb ddr2 ram (2x2g, 2x1gb)
And an RX 460 2GB. and I am doing a build for my bro in law (free gift to assist his launch into the pc world) wanted to know what you think is the best cou mobo combo 
Right now I have the q9400 in the EVGA board OC'd to 3.5 on a stock cooler with the 6gb ram at 802mhz, I am into overclocking and probably will invest a tiny bit more into a decent air 775 cooler to assist with temps (q9400 seems to be golden)but for medium 720p or low 1080p NEVER AA because of the very much cpu bottleneck. What would be the better chip to oc for this am I best with the 9400 and oc to 4 maybe?!?! Or give the q66 a try? Obvious i am staying the the EVGA board. It's perfect here a pic now. The P5K-E is a great OC board for older chips like the Q6600, but that nForce will OC anything. The 9400 has the newer Penryn architecture, so definitely stick to that.

Q9400 should be better and overclock higher than the Q6600.

What does AA have to do with cpu bottlenecking?

 

I wouldn't OC too much because your Bro will lose interest in PC Gaming if it starts being unstable and crashing every now and then.
