Extremly slow download at Steam, just for ARK everything else downloads normal

Hi, i want to know if anyone can help me, Im trying to install ARK but it goes 40mb/s for a sec and then 750kb/s until drops to 0 and from there downloads when it wants and for 5 sec max at 2mb/s max. BUT! if i download any other game from steam, without doing any changes, it downloads at 40+mb/s (my normal downloads speed)

I dont know what could be :c HELP!

Are you sure the download server is set to the closest to your location?

Yes, on my actual country actually, and i've tried other near ones and goes the same, normal on everything but ARK.
I have 400mb/s of national download speed and its on SSD :c

First, are you on WiFi instead of Ethernet?

If not, then probably the CDN node you connected to is caching this game or something.

Nothing in ARK is common lol. I can’t say for sure, I haven’t played ARK or watched the downloads in a while

Ah that's crap!

 

I remember my ARK download being slow... but I guess I can't speak for every single download...

 

Is it with all the DLC? or just this one?

When I (and everyone I know who has it) download Payday 2, it takes FOREVER, regardless of internet speed. The reason is the extremely high compression ratio on the game files. So it downloads a bit, then sits and de-compresses it and then saves it to the disk. 4GB update taking 6+ hours, even with 200mb internet and an SSD. 

 

Doesn't look like your disk usage is too high, so I don't think this is whats happening to you.

Could be some stupid compression? I don't have the game, so I can't confirm that or if the download is slow in other countries.
