Broken LGA 1151 8th Gen Z370 Pin

I pulled a Linus and dropped my 8086k in my socket. When bending back L-29 (VCC or Power Supply) the pin broke off.  Anyone experience this? From what I have read it will hurt my overclocking “maybe” but should be fine over all. Not wanting to risk an 8086K I already ordered a new motherboard but at this point I am just interested in learning more about how the socket works and If it might still be ok.

just fix the pins with a small tweezers.

make sure it doesn't make contact with other pins.

Then RIP motherboard.

May it rest peacefully in motherboard heaven.
