Reset Windows 10 PC without losing drivers?

About to sell my gaming PC at the local PD. But before I do that, I want to be sure that this PC works fine right out of the imaginary box. I've reset the PC already, but realized that without drivers, it's not going to be a very pleasant user experience to set it up. Without the proper drivers installed, it's going to experience problems like stuttering (storage device), messed up audio through HDMI, useless WiFi card, etc.

 

Is there a way I can reset the Windows 10 PC while preserving some pre-installed programs?

Just reinstall the drivers yourself?..

As Slottr said, you can just reinstall them yourself.

On a side note, make sure to properly erase your drives before selling.

A reset this PC doesnt really wipe your data, you need to fully wipe the drive.

I chose for the built in reset feature to clean the drives as well, not that I used the PC substantially, just to test it out, log in to Origin and test BF1, etc. Is that feature not sufficient?

Just download the drivers off the website first, copy that to a usb flash drive, before reinstalling windows. Does it come with a motherboard disc? If yes, then buy a USB optical drive and include that with the build. Much easier for the buyer and for you the sellter.

Get a SATA optical drive if your case support is, a lot cheaper than USB version, like $12 bucks or so. USB is around $25.

Windows Update will find most of the drivers in W10.
