Yeah, it's a great-value GPU that's a lot faster. It does draw a lot more power though so keep that in mind.

980Ti is around gtx 1070 performance. So yes, way worth.

You're possibly better off using that money on an RX 600 and 1080p 144hz display instead depending on what kind of gaming you're doing.

A 980 Ti is equivalent to a GTX 1070

 

So yes, it's definitely worth getting a 980 Ti provided it's not too pricey

Indeed, I can confirm those performance claims. My old 980Ti XTREME GAMING surpassed stock 1080 FE performance (at least in FireStrike) after overclocking it, however it did consume a lot of power and produced a lot of heat.

980ti is around twice as fast as a 1050. Whether or not that upgrade is worth it is up to you.

But if you only have a 1080p 60hz display I'm not sure it's worth getting a 980ti unless it's under $250

There are some online calculators that let you put in your components to give you a GENERAL idea how much power you will be drawing. Most accurate would be a monitor like "killa watt," which I think someone else mentioned.

Generally, I think you're good with a 650W Gold PSU or better, provided you don't have a crazy amount of peripherals other than your GPU.
