BeamNG.drive. Aside from its (most famous) collision physics, the driving physics is also excellent. You can even get mods and edit game files to create cars you want, no matter how crazy or broken or rubbish they are.

Theres plenty of mobile racing games that look fairly good.

A lot of mobile games also support controllers, especially racers.

Android phones support anything with bluetooth and even keyboards while IOS devices support bluetooth controllers. I can play Minecraft and GTA V with a steelseries nimbus on my iPhone and many others. In terms of racing and free roam games there is a ton on IOS that most support controller. Just look car driving sims on the app store
