Am I limiting the potential of my graphics card?

So i have had this system now for 4-5 years (I think can't fully remember) and only really upgraded the GPU, and i was wondering if the CPU and RAM are making to i can't get the best performance out of my GPU, as i have seen people test this card but with some other CPU and RAM and it seems to perform a lot better then what I am getting currently.

If while gaming the CPU hits 100% load, and the GPU does not, then yes.

If it doesn't, you're fine.

 

...your motherboard is disturbingly hot. You might want to look into that.

Ok will have to look into that and the Motherboard temp is just an error i researched it and found that it is just a bug that happens and/or a faulty temp reader

What do you mean by that not really understanding it is an overclockerble CPU but i haven't done it because every time i have to PC crashes eventually if not immediately.

you have to control the voltage as well. or, voltages as this is a Haswell CPU. There's Vccin (CPU input voltage) that I suggest you leave it at 1.9V first, then there's Vcore (CPU core voltage) which should be around 1.25V to 1.4V, which exact value is usable depends on your CPU cooler. Make sure you have HWinfo sensor mode turned on in Windows to monitor these two voltages when the system is running when overclocked.

 

Only touch the multiplier after the voltage is manually set.

Ok thanks will give that a try later, and see what I can get working and if it helps I have a Corsiar H60 that I am using to cool the CPU, for instance running PUBG on mostly low and medium CPU temp gets to around 70C, and i know that this isn't a well optimized game but just clarifying the game i am currently playing the most.
