Seagate Go Flex Thunderbolt?

Dennis2sinneD

Hi all,

I want to create a fast external Steam drive for my games and have something for backups too, I was thinking of going for a Seagate Go Flex drive with a thunderbolt adapter.

Does anyone have any suggestions or warnings?

Cheers :)

Nope. Seems like a good plan :) The GoFlex drives are pretty much obsolete now. It's the 'Backup Plus" you will be after

Actually thinking about it, save your money and just get USB 3, as the speed is now limited by the drive, not the connection. So 5Gbps would be more than enough.
