I know he'll probably never see this but he's definitely the type of person to intentionally do something this stupid

Basically the idea is to liquid cool a pc with fondue and have the rez be the fountain the heat melts the chocolate or cheese or what have you, you can dip in it just like normal but it just so happens to be cooling your pc

I would rather see him eat some thermal paste, it doesent taste good, i tasted some dry paste once when i put an old dead cpu in my mouth for a pic since it was still covered in the stuff

i just wanna see him do it he would decide how far he takes it of course if that meant attempting it once and turning the pc off after only running it a short while then sure but if he felt like trying to somehow get it to actually work that would be amazing to watch

I feel like for it to be a viable video it has to be at theoretically possible to get it working enough to get results. With this it's just too viscous to even move in the loop I reckon, which is an instant fail and loss of hardware without much footage.

exactly i meant the idea out of the context of a video would be stupid lol and he knows that and that's why i wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly why he did it

The first thought is that the cpu block would get gunked but really, that's the place where you'd have the least problems. 

 

Unlike a conventional loop you want to keep the temperature UP as much as you can without the system crashing. 

 

The tubing and radiator is where you'd see catastrophic clogging!!

i think a custom block wider tubes and perhaps an alternative to radiators such as cooling the fondue in some way when its in the fountain section of the loop i don't know what way yet but watching Linus try to figure it out is part of the fun of the video
