I have a 1060 6gb gpu. i have one of my monitors hooked up into it rn, but I have an old monitor that uses vga, and cant connect to the 1060 without an adapter. It can go into my mobo though. So, is there any way to make this work?

its not working though

check the BIOS if integrated GPU is enabled, but it should be usually enabled by default

As long as your CPU has an integrated GPU, yes. If you have an FX, Xeon, or Ryzen CPU, this will not be possible.
