Bad Graphical performance with Dell inspiron 7567

Hey everyone 

I bought a new dell inspiron 7567 and when i bought it in the beginning it worked flawlessly as usual i installed fortnite and got close to 40 to 50 in all epic settings with 1920x1080

But recently i have a drastic downgrade in performance wherein even PC Building Simulator stutters to 22fps :( Fortnite is unplayabe in all low settings except if i reduce the resolution to 1366x768 even then i only get about 30fps if i am lucky 

MY SPECS -:

  Intel core i5-7300HQ

  Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 (4GB)

  8GB of RAM

  

 

I bought a external SSD it is an M.2 SATA ssd and have installed fortnite in that only thinking it might be due to slow hard disk reading times but to no gain 

 

I have set every power setting to max performance and read and done many nvidia settings tweak i dont know what else to do 

 

This is my last resort if any bright mind in the LTT community could help me solve my problem i would OWE THEM A TON

check the max temperatures of the CPU and GPU

 

HWinfo's sensor mode can do that

Also check if Fortnite and other games are running on the d-GPU and not i-GPU. I think you can force Windows to use one or the other.

I went ahead and did instruct the comp to use d-GPU in nvidia settings and also individual prog settings

hmm the GPU's boosting up well and usage isnt high, it's not the one to blame

 

what about CPU usage? Things like Discord do chuck in some power.

I close all of the apps in the background i cant even use chrome when running fortnite forget about having it open

how about RAM? Windows Task Manager should be able to show it if you can't find / not sure which one in HWinfo.

maybe try restore Nvidia Control Panel settings to default, as well as installing the newest driver?

What do you mean with task manager open and yes i will try to reset nvidia settings

Should i contact microsoft regarding this problem cause Dell performed the ePSA test and nothing was wrong with my hardware

I have contacted all 3 microsoft dell and nvidia and none of them have a solution to my problem i am waiting to report it to dell as my warranty is in the process of extension and i should wait a couple more days if anybody could step in and give me any piece of advice on how to fix this i would be indebt to em
