Super weird Graphic card problem.

ImInHugeTrouble

I just finished building my PC with fresh new windows 10 pro. But my PC doesnt seem to detect my GPU amd RX560 in task manager, CPU, cinebench r15 etc. In DXDIAG and device manager show Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. My Hdmi cable is already plugged straight to the graphic card. I then installed newest AMD driver first Radeon RX560. And it seems like the software can detect amd card installed on my pc otherwise I couldnt have been installed. When I restarted my PC it only shows RX560 in my device manager with yellow exclamation mark and still have microsoft basic display adapter showing in DXDIAG. I have reinstalled my windows 10 and driver many time and still not work.

It's a second hand gpu from mining. Could this be the case?

What Windows version are you running? They added GPU in Task Manager in 1709 iirc. Otherwise try re-installing the GPU driver. (also check if you put your display cable in your GPU and not your Mobo ;) )

Got the latest BIOS?

For that matter, have you looked around the BIOS to see if anything stands out that might be causing issues?

This is why I will never get any used GPU ever, whether it ex-gaming or ex-mining. The hidden truth of information of how it's been treated by its previous owner and the random failure risk of them is out of my interest..

I have had almost fall into a killer deal of less than 5 months ex-mining MSI GTX 1080 Ti DUKE for $560 but I didn't take it because of that reason..

Don't worry.

I believe the card is fine and if it isn't we can't tell yet.

I noticed that the IDE Controller is also got the yellow warning sign.

This is usually a sign of the wrong chipset driver for the motherboard.

Have you updated your motherboard drivers?

It is Intel CPU right?

I dont believe that it's the motherboard driver problem because my 750 TI works flawlessly with nvidia driver. But will try this, thanks.
